SELECT YOUR DREAM TENNIS DIAMOND BRACELET

The tennis bracelet, a thin diamond bracelet, was originally called the eternity bracelet. A tennis bracelet is a simple diamond bracelet that consists of small stones set in continuous links on a flexible chain. The diamonds are set closely together, creating the impression of a smooth ribbon of diamond wrapped around the wrist. These days, a diamond bracelet is the perfect accessory to almost any outfit, from jeans and a t-shirt to glamourous event such as wedding or private functions. A tennis bracelet is usually a big purchase and can be an investment piece you will have for many years. Mostly all ladies we think would have at least one classic piece eventually. Like myself personally as private jeweller who handle many tennis bracelets before over the years, I really never think of owning one as I find it’s too delicate for me because born with abit hairy hands (wonder anyone felt the same or just me alone) so I felt bracelet doesn’t look nice on me. As time goes by, I started slowly to admire tennis bracelet especially when my husband bought me a piece for our anniversary gift (Eternity bracelet- Eternity). I find the quiet beauty and the elegance by itself, thus shine out beautifully even when stacking with the bangles. It’s really pretty and of course if your diamonds are as big like 0.15 carat to 0.50 carat each piece then it’s totally stunning, glamourous!!! You can see many nice hand shots photos in Instagram featuring beautiful accessories like in @watch_fashionista – www.watchanish.com and @carpus_diem – www.carpusdiem.com. To select a tennis bracelet with so many choices and factors to consider whether for yourself or a gift, could be a difficult task.

The first is probably your budget. Then come to think of the style of tennis bracelet, whether it’s a full diamond bracelet, full gemstones bracelet or mixture of both diamond and gemstones bracelet. Thereafter with the usual factors of buying diamond apply to the purchase of a diamond bracelet — to consider colour grade, clarity, cut and total carat size best fit your priorities.

Choose from a wide variety of fine diamond tennis bracelets which include such as bezel settings, 3-prong, as well as traditional 4-prong settings. As for gold type and material such as in 18K white gold, Rose gold, Yellow gold, Black gold or Platinum. Each setting and type of gold color gives you a different look, different people fancy different style, so choose the design depend what you like best.

Bezel Setting

Bezel setting is 18K gold surround each diamond. For tight budget customers, you can consider bezel setting diamond tennis bracelet as the 18K white gold shiny finishing will tend to create bigger diamond impression. However upon wearing for a period, all jewellery gold or platinum material will look dull and have scratches around. Hence the contrast of the bezel setting with diamond will be more obvious than the first time you bought. To maintain your tennis bracelet lifespan, you can send in for polishing.

3 Prong Setting

The 3 prong designs have more visible look of a series of diamonds that are connected at the edges. It’s a more delicate and less tailored look.

4 Prong Setting

4 prongs tend to give round diamonds slight deception of squarish look to them. With a lot of them lined up in a row, this gives a smoother edge to the piece and the flash of the diamonds tends to look more like one continuous train of sparkle.

A classy diamond bracelet should fall loosely and elegantly on your wrist, not stretch over the skin or sag over the hand. You should be able to comfortably slip a finger between the bracelet and your wrist. Of course, some ladies preferred slightly smaller but not too much otherwise it would look very stiffly on your wrist. In the meantime, a too small or too loose diamond bracelet can get damaged easily, so it is important to make sure yours fits perfectly. Don’t forget to take yours to a jeweller for adjustments if it does not fit correctly.
